nine things i hate about boys

1. they kiss and tell -

(apparently it makes them looks manly if they tell everyone).

2. they kiss and tell exaggerated versions of what happened -

(apparently their stud status is greatly elevated if they say that you actually slept together).

3. they think that getting you into bed is a heroic accomplishment on their behalf and sluttish on your behalf -

(great to see women's rights have advanced so fucking far).

4. they do underhanded things to get you into bed -

(such as getting you so drunk you can't remember it or flattering you or lying to you about supposed feelings they have for you).

5. they keep other girls on the side, even if they are in a relationship -

(for those 'just in case' moments when your partner is not giving you enough head).

6. their egos are so fragile and delicate that they can't handle being wrong -

(even if they are VERY VERY wrong).

7. they think that being a 'man' is conquering you -

(what happened to being chivalrous and respectful?)

8. they expect girls to look like porn stars -

(not all girls have flawless bodies, however it may surprise you to learn that we have a soul and that we tire of being objectified).

9. by the time you have decided that you can put your trust in them, they loose interest in you -

(it starts by forgetting to ask how your day was. next thing your conversations are filled with long silences. Next you realize that they don't even know who you are and nor do they care to find out.)

and so i have come to the conclusion that there are only two options:

date a girl or date a man who has the courage to be more than the pathetic, low-grade version of masculinity society portrays.

ps. i'm pretty sure i have found the most amazing, sincere, humble and courageous man there is.

but i'm in a very bad mood and had to express my terrible disappointment at the poor calibre of most men i have foolishly trusted.
