Happy occurrences...

Yesterday was the loveliest of days. Only good things happened all day!

My sister came to visit me and we talked in great length, went shopping and drank coffee.

Then my parents arrived and the four of us went out for an amazing lunch at one of my favourite restaurants. We all talked and laughed and I was so very happy to spend time with my family all together.

After our parents left for home, my sister and I lazed around, watching gossip girl and eating my cousin's left over wedding cake. Then we went out for dinner at another of my favourite restaurants with my boyfriend and a good friend of hers. It was such a pleasure, to talk and laugh with some of my dearest people, drinking wine and eating good food. My sister and I shared a beetroot and yoghurt salad and a turkish pizza with roast tomato, harissa, roast eggplant and haloumi. Amazing.

So that was my lovely day! Family, boyfriend, good food, wine and shopping! Oh, and Gossip Girl haha... xoxo

i have a new bike!

and i really, truly do love it!

lochy went and fetched it for me and now i can ride to uni and go on adventures.

i've already had a mini crash, which i mainly feel adds some extra excitement to getting a new bike. hopefully it will be my last crash though! my knee is very sore!

without doubt, seeing jonsi at splendour in the grass this year was the highlight of my musical viewing career thus far. i wish i could re-live it because it was so heart-wrenchingly lovely.

When I was little, I used to pretend I lived in the 100 Acre Wood.

I loved the A. A. Milne books and used to try to recite the poetry from them.

Oh hundred acre woods, I want to visit you again.

oh oh seriously, this bike should be mine! (hint hint lochy... haha)

i feel like i'm awake at the crack of dawn (ok, so it's only 8am but it's freezing and i feel numb all over!).

it's nice at this time of morning though, there is still icy dew all over the pumpkin vine and all the spiderwebs look like they have jewels hanging in them. the sun feels so fragile, like it's as unsure about getting up as i am.

must get to west end.

must have coffee.

I really, really, really want to go to this shop.
