lately my imagination has become entirely captivated with the idea of going to morocco... the spices, the desert, the tents, the silver teapots and glass teacups! the lanterns and colours and food!

and so, today being the first dreary, rainy day of holidays, i think the only sensible thing to do is get myself to the shops and fetch ingredients for moroccan bread, mint tea and moroccan chicken with couscous. and buy myself a bunch of flowers. i think that will start off the holidays nicely.

without doubt, seeing jonsi at splendour in the grass this year was the highlight of my musical viewing career thus far. i wish i could re-live it because it was so heart-wrenchingly lovely.

i really do hope that one day i am so fortunate as to live in a house just like this. imagine!

...or i could have a normal house and for days when i wanted to run away, i could have a secret house like this in the forest that no one knew about. and i would have to bundle up and trek across fields and creeks in order to arrive at this house and light a fire and eat toast. i think yes.
